In a ceremony held on the 30th of September 2016 at the NAL-COMET headquarters, the Nigerian Youth Parliament has awarded the NAL-COMET Group as a “ICON OF GREATER NIGERIA AND NATION BUILDING”.
In his speech to the NAL-COMET management, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Nigerian Youth Parliament Hon. Umar Etudaye stated as follows:
“The Parliament in her quest to identify with distinguished and reputable personalities, organisations, institutions and public office holders inaugurate her Award and Monument Category of “ICON OF GREATER NIGERIA AND NATION BUILDING” in 2010, aimed at honouring and encouraging outstanding performance in the various economic sector of the nation.
After due ratification the Parliament observed the enthusiasm and zeal of the Nigeria America Line as a giant and leading agency in Nigeria shipping industry, thus excellent and innovative service delivery. Hence the Parliament has named you winner of her prestigious Award of Excellence. Noteworthy that only the Dangote Cement Group Pic has won this honour in 2014 and today the Nigeria America line is joining the league.”
